Skeletons Make Me Happy ;-)

When I was about 12 or so, in my bedroom I would doodle with a biro and whatever was around, school book or whatever. I kinda wish I’d kept them as they appear to now have been given a term, but hey ho, for me it is still doodling.

Now that I am (much) older and the internet is here – a world of possibilities have opened up.

From the comfort of my settee, indoors while it’s cold and raining and dark and drizzly outside, I can explore all sorts of magical things to make pretty with.

I started with just ordinary fine liners, which are gorgeous, but then realised I probably needed waterproof fine liners if I was using watercolours (er yeah). Mind you I do seem to do most of the doodling after the watercolour, but would like to shake that up a bit. I also ordered some metallic liners. That was quite an interesting path, going through so many packs of metallic liners till I could find the ones that really showed up and were fine enough to use. Oh, and also white liner pens. I now have boxes of different wondrous stuff to play with, it makes me so utterly joyful inside to looks at these.

If you could think of one word to describe how you feel when you do your passion – what would it be? I’d love to hear.
