Branching out – to Trees

Well, it’s trees and landscapes, really. I was trying out different skills.

First up are these cute mini landscapes; they are tiny, like 2 inches by 3 inches each. It’s great, as if you mess that up, no worries.
It was an excellent way to practice washes.

Then came the ‘no brush’ technique 😉 I love this. It felt very ‘get down and stuck in’ kinda playing, and I think it’s pretty effective.

And finally, washing and sploshing. And I so love this that I think I’m going to try and do a set throughout the seasons.

Credit for the techniques taught where relevant are given on Instagram with the accompanying pictures.
